Numerical Approximations of Stochastic Differential Equations and their Applications in Mathematical Neurosciences

Abstract We consider perturbed differential equations and apply known results to show that the difference between the solution of the perturbed differential equation and the sum of the solution of the averaged equation and sqrt(eps) times the solution of the corresponding stochastic differential equation is O(eps).
