Inverse Problems in Image Reconstruction
Abstract
The talk will focus on two interdisciplinary projects
that will be part of my thesis: 1D Reconstruction of deep
mantle seismic signals and 2D reconstruction of Medical images
(PET scans). Both applications have still many unsolved
mathematical challenges, both of algorithmic and analytical
nature.
